Amara and its employees welcomed the opportunity to serve in the very community that has done so much for each of us.
We had you, as our friends and guests, nominate over 100 women that deserved extreme makeovers. A committee picked 4 deserving women and we made them over from head to toe; including hair cut, color, extensions, facials, massage, manicures, pedicures, full wardrobes and much more. Because of the selfless acts of service they give to everybody everyday, as well as hardships that have come their way, these women were more than deserving of their makeovers! We also involved other businesses in the community who donated their time and services. Special thanks to our dentists that gave the girls new smiles; Cougar Dental, Maughan Dental, A Place To Smile and Hammond & Ellis. Also, a special thanks to Karve Studio for donating workout sessions, Loreal Professional for the gift bags, and Milagro’s Restaurant for the delicious lunch!
